On a recent visit to Chelsea Market on 9th Ave in NYC, I popped into a whimsical bakery, Eleni's. (www.elenis.com). Colorful layers of cupcakes, cookies and candy. They offer nut free as well as themed desserts.Cookies for every occasion. Despite the total visual pleasure of the space, the cupcakes were also quite delicious!. Newcomers Club Event

Last night in conjunction with Alicja Crosby, of Alicja Crosby Interiors we (CSM Art & Frame) spoke to 14 members of the Millburn/Short HIlls Newcomers Neighbors Club. (www.newcomersencoreclub.org.) The evening was hosted at the home of Lily Ibrahim. The topic was about "How Color affects Design and Art. " Alicja discussed the color spectrum and how decorating with color affects our moods and how we utilize our spaces. CSM showcased pieces of art that could possibly evoke different moods in the rooms. The evening ended with a group exercise of pairing fabrics , rugs and accessories with wall colors and art. Cocktails and Light refreshments were served.
